Donor Data Privacy & Information Governance

1. Scope of Collection
   To properly issue official donation receipts and manage relationships with our ministry partners, Evangelism Explosion Uganda gathers personal identification data during the donation process. This includes names, physical locations, email addresses, phone numbers, and historical giving logs. We use these to share your financial giving updates, including receipts and stories of the impact of your giving. 
2. Technical PHP Sessions
   Our website employs GiveWP donation infrastructure. To secure transaction data as it moves between your device and the payment gateway, the website uses active PHP sessions. This temporarily links a donor to their dynamic confirmation page securely, ensuring public website accounts are not forced upon users.
3. Non-Disclosure & Security
   Evangelism Explosion Uganda values donor confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor contact lists, personal details, or communication histories with external commercial parties or unassociated organisations. All physical and digital donor files are strictly managed by authorised ministry personnel at our main office on Plot 1413, Jinja Road, Bweyogerere.
4. Modifying Records
   In alignment with local data protection acts, donors hold the right to inspect, correct, or request the permanent erasure of their records from our internal CRM database by contacting us directly.
